On World Parkinson's Day, April 11, 2026, NVGF organized the second edition of "Knock-Out Parkinson Worldwide," once again connecting patients and therapists from Bengbu Central Hospital in China and Medisport Etten-Leur in the Netherlands.
The live Zoom session combined Parkinson Boxing and Tai Chi, led by Marcus Janssen and Tai Chi Master Ou, with support from Peng Gao, Toby Mensen, and Ruud Wijnings.
From February 5 to 8, NVGF visited Bengbu Central Hospital (Bengbu Third People's Hospital) in China. The visit marked another step forward in the ongoing international partnership, building on previous collaborations and creating new opportunities for joint research, training, and cross-border healthcare services.
NVGF Partners with Haibin Rehabilitation Hospital in China to Integrate TCM and Western Therapies
NVGF has established a partnership with Haibin Rehabilitation Hospital in China, also known as Jiangsu Coastal Rehabilitation Hospital. The signing ceremony, held in Lianyungang, aims to integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Western rehabilitation therapies, such as physiotherapy, to enhance healthcare services.
From June 7 to 9, 2024, the Marveld Tournament in the Netherlands saw the Chinese Football Boys make their debut, achieving an impressive eighth-place finish. NVGF and Tong Ren Clinic from Den Haag provided essential physiotherapy and rehabilitation support throughout the event, ensuring the young athletes performed at their best.
