NVGF at Pain Science in Motion IV congress in Maastricht

On May 19-20, 2022, NVGF attended the "Pain Science in Motion IV" conference in Maastricht, the Netherlands. This congress, is held every two years, focuses on research methods in pain sciences, rather than research findings alone. It aims to inspire young researchers through keynote lectures, meet-the-expert sessions and active participation. This year was the fourth edition.

The conference was jointly organized by the Pain in Motion international research group, Maastricht University and the Center of Expertise in Rehabilitation and Pain Adelante/MUMC+.

Together with researcher Yijun Li, NVGF visited the conference and discussed the first phase of the collaborative research between China and the Netherlands on Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE). We met with her tutors, professors Jo Nijs and Paul van Wilgen.

During the conference, Yijun Li engaged in discussions with researchers from various countries and we all attended several presentations.
