NVGF Visits Elderly Care Institution in Yangzhou, China

In October 2019, NVGF visited an elderly care institution in Yangzhou, China. The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration opportunities in elderly care and rehabilitation, further strengthening our commitment to international cooperation in healthcare.

During the visit, the NVGF delegation toured the nursing home and wellness centres. The institution's six-pillar wellness system was presented, which covers medical care, leisure, recreation, health maintenance, intellectual stimulation, and comfortable living.

Following the tour, discussions were held with the institution's management. Both sides exchanged views on rehabilitation concepts, current developments, and future directions in China and the Netherlands. We also explored potential areas and models for collaboration.

The institution expressed interest in learning from Dutch rehabilitation practices, adopting advanced technologies, and sending professionals to the Netherlands for training. These efforts aim to further enhance operations and management.
